There I visit my beautiful, wild, inner counterpart.
My deep Heart Cave has gone from a simple altar with candle and my meditation mat, to a blue temple that merges nature and spirit. My eternal male counterpart, my beloved tree and the waterfall gently leading my mind and heart into meditation.
As a child, Maria knew she wanted to be an artist. Throughout her life, Maria’s artistic expression has paralleled her spiritual journey, leading her to create images inviting contemplation or meditation. Maria seeks to express the spiritual dimension in her painting. Her work now displays a dynamic union of traditional and process painting, seemingly effortlessly expressing her inner experiences.
